Year 1 'Arles' models

Following their work on maps, children in Year 1 made a map of their bedrooms.

Rebecca cut out a piece of paper for each piece of furniture in her bedroom and then glued it in the correct place on her map.
These maps were used to aid the children in creating 3D models of their bedrooms.

Can you spot the bed, desk and chair in Sarah's model?
They used scrap and art materials, such as boxes, pots, wood, pipecleaners and fabric.

Daisy used felt fabric to make curtains and a bedspread...
...and Ethan used card and pipecleaners to make his bunkbed.

The children's models were then photographed to imitate Vincent Van Gogh's famous 'Arles' painting.
How do you think they compare to the original?!
